They say never work with kids or animals, but with the kids and animals that live in South West Melbourne, the RaD team couldn’t have been happier.

Shooting for Destination Melbourne‘s DYOB campaign the RaD team translated creative director Saxon’s signature tactile and organic film style to city living, amidst lions, rhinos, giraffe and meerkats. Watch this space for more of the series, from historic farmhouses, delicious mozzarella makers and secret urban hideaways to hipster heaven, live music and the urban jungle (hopefully without lions).

It’s not every day that you get to high five a fur seal, scale a mountain or fly a drone along the South East Australian coastline – all live on facebook broadcast.

This Southern hemisphere spring, the RaD team was commissioned by THL to produce a series of Instagram stories and facebook live broadcasts, driving from Melbourne to Sydney in a huge 6 berth luxury campervan. “It’s not a part of Australia we’ve been before,” explains creative director Saxon, “so we’re really excited to be able to capture it in such a reactive and interactive way. Tune in on the Britz facebook page – with such a unique route to cover, it’s going to be pretty entertaining!”

After 6 weeks of non-stop production scooting around Thailand, Vietnam and Bali with over 120 adventure hungry backpackers, the RaD team have wrapped the last leg of the epic Intro Travel project 2017 – for now.

Producing 10 cutting edge travel films from Bangkok to Phangan and Phi Phi, Hanoi to HCMC, Seminyak to Lovina, Gili and Mount Batur fresh for the launch of the epic travel collective’s new website launch, the RaD team have loved every minute.

“South East Asia is one of our favourite regions in the world,” explains creative director Saxon. “We’ve been here so many times but seeing peoples souls light up with new experiences.”
